The organisers of Best of Nollywood Awards (BON Awards) decided to impact on the youths when they organized a book reading in Ondo state.On October 4, 2015, the organisers of Best of Nollywood in commemoration of World Teachers Day put together BON reading to inspire young children and students to read. The event held in Akure Ondo state capital was hosted by Kemi Mimiko, the first lady of the Sunshine state.

Among celebrities who read at the 2015 BON reading are Ondo state first lady and she was ably supported by celebrated Nollywood actors like Jibola Daboh, Mimi Orijikwe, Muyiwa Ademola, Bidemi Kosoko, Seun Oloketuyi, the organiser of BON awards among others.

Plans are currently underway to hold the seventh edition of the BON awards scheduled to hold on December 12, 2015 and Ondo state is the hosting state. BON awards will be held at ‘The Dome’, the biggest event centre in Africa in Akure, Ondo State.
